EPIK: Notice to successful applicants
Visa application:
Our Seoul office mailed out the visa documents. They should arrive sometime this week.
When you go to the Embassy/Consulate to apply for work visa, please make sure you bring: 1) sealed transcript, 2) original copy of degree, 3) photos, and 4) employment contract (you will receive 2, one for you to keep and the other one to bring to the Embassy/Consultate).
Orientation:
All teachers are supposed to arrive on 21st of February, 2008.
Book a flight ticket and let us know: 1) flight time, 2) departure city, and 3) price by no later than 8th of February.
For the airfare reimbursement, bring a copy of: 2) purchase receipt, 2) boarding pass.
All copies should be the original copies.

- Period: Feb. 22 - 29, 2008
- Venue: Yusung Hotel, Daejeong, Chungnam

- Program contents: Korean public school system, Introduction to Korean culture, etc.
2. Date of arrival
To attend the orientation, you’re expected to arrive at Incheon International Airport by Feb. 21, 2008 at the latest. Please notify us of your flight schedule in advance so that we can arrange an airport pick-up service for you.
3. Airfare reimbursement
Airfare will be reimbursed during the orientation. Please make sure you bring the original copies of the following with you:
- passenger’s copy of flight ticket
- ticket purchase receipt
- boarding pass(es).
4. Placement
- A coordinator from your POE (Provincial Office of Education) will come to the closing ceremony to pick you up and take you to the assigned school.
