EPIK (English Program in Korea) is a body in the Ministry that supervises the country's public school English education.
EPIK is now hiring qualified ESL teachers for FALL 2008.

POSITION:

- Position: Full-time public school ESL teacher
- Start date: Sep. 1, 2008
- Term: 1 year (Sep. 1, 2008 - Aug. 31, 2009)

- Location: South Korea (map)
- Work hours : Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
- Classroom hours: 22hrs/week

COMPENSATION:

LEVEL 1 : KRW2.3-2.65mn/month
- Bachelor's degree + Teacher's Certificate + over 2 years of full-time teaching experience OR

Note: There is a difference between metropolitan and non-metropolitan cities in terms of the compensation and benefits. Also, there is extra pay, if you are assigned to teach at a number of neighbouring schools beside a main school you would be placed.
